42nd Street

Broadway producer Julian Marsh has plans to put on one last show before he retires, a musical titled Pretty Girl. Marsh calls upon renowned actress Dorothy Brock — and more importantly, her rich husband and financier — to make his show a success, but faces the difficult off-stage antics of the cast and crew assembled to create Marsh’s last masterpiece.

42nd Street played at the 2004 Heartland Film Festival in the Truly Moving Musical Sidebar.
