Overview
The 10th Annual Heartland Film Festival took place October 17-27, 2001, and hosted screenings at Anderson University, Butler University, General Cinema Castleton Arts, Franklin College, General Cinema Greenwood Park, Hilbert Circle Theatre, Indiana Historical Sociaety and the Madame Walker Theatre. The theme for the festival was: Truly Moving Pictures.
Charles Champlin attended the Festival and was honored with the Career Achievement Award. Scott Bindley (Actor, Madison), Bill Bindley (Filmmaker, Madison), Jim Caviezel (Actor, Madison), Jake Lloyd (Actor, Madison), Chelcie Ross (Actor, Madison), Angelo Pizzo (Writer, Rudy), Vivica A. Fox (Actor, Secret Keeper), and Clifton Davis (Actor, The Painting).
