Overview
The 13th Annual Heartland Film Festival took place October 19-29, 2004, and hosted screenings at the AMC Theatres Castleton Square, AMC Theatres Greenwood Park, and the Indiana History Center. The theme for the festival was: See life differently.
Mike Rich, TMPA screenwriter, attended the Festival and was honored with the Pioneering Spirit Award. Other Festival special guests include Jeff Daniels (Actor, Because of Winn Dixie), Cicely Tyson (Actor, Because of Winn Dixie), AnnaSophia Robb (Actor, Because of Winn Dixie), Kate DiCamillo (Actor, Because of Winn Dixie), Adam Garcia (Actor, Love’s Brother), and Richard Sherman was presented with an honorary Crystal Heart for his work writing legendary Disney songs.
