Overview
The 3rd Annual Heartland Film Festival took place October 27-30, 1994, and screened 7 films at Circle Theatre, Madame Walker Theatre, and Hollywood bar & Filmworks. This year’s Festival opened with the premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ Squanto: A Warrior’s Tale and closed with the World Premiere of Miramax Family Films’ Gordy.
Special guests of the Festival include Adam Beach and Irene Bedard (Actors, Squanto), Ken Wales and Kelly Martin (screening of Christy), Trudie Styler (Producer, Moving the Mountain), Li Lu (Tiananmen Square Student Leader), Branko Lustig (Producer, Schindler’s List), Don Hahn (Producer, The Lion King), David Anspaugh (Director, Rudy), Angelo Pizzo (Writer, Rudy), Roma Downey (Actor, Touched By An Angel), and Michael Medved was Co-Master of Ceremonies with Jeffrey Lyons.
