Overview
The 8th Annual Heartland Film Festival took place October 20-28, 1999 and screened 12 films at the IMAX Theatre, Indiana Historical Society, and Franklin College. More than $100,000 was awarded at the Crystal Heart Awards Gala to the filmmakers behind the film screened at the Festival.
John Dye was the Festival Gala MC. Other special guests include Ellen Burstyn (Actor, Walking Across Egypt), Judge Reinhold (Actor, Walking Across Egypt), and Judy Stewart-Merill (Jimmy Stewart’s daughter).
